HubSpot integration
WhatsApp for your HubSpot contacts, on any HubSpot plan
Connect your HubSpot account and the contacts you choose become WhatsApp contacts in Whapier, with their properties and lists, kept in step as HubSpot changes. Campaigns, the team inbox and automation then work on them — over Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, at Meta's own rates.
What comes across from HubSpot
- Your contacts — all of them, or only those that meet conditions on any property
- The phone number from the property you choose, with a fallback: the mobile first, then the phone
- Name and e-mail, and any other property you pick as a contact field you can segment on
- Dropdown properties with their option labels; yes/no and date properties as they are
- Your HubSpot lists, static and active, mirrored as groups
- New, changed, merged and deleted contacts within a minute or two
Connected in three steps
-
1
Connect
Press Connect with HubSpot, pick the account and approve. It takes a HubSpot super admin, or a user with the HubSpot Marketplace access permission.
-
2
Choose the contacts
Pick the property that holds the phone, the country for numbers stored without a prefix, the properties to bring along and, if you like, conditions on which contacts come in. A preview shows the first contacts and how many have a usable number before anything is imported.
-
3
Message them
The contacts land in a group of their own, ready for a campaign, a segment or a flow. From then on Whapier keeps them in step with HubSpot.
Questions about this integration
Does it work on HubSpot Free and Starter?
Yes. The integration reads your contacts, their properties and your lists, which every HubSpot plan has, the free CRM included. HubSpot's own WhatsApp channel, by comparison, comes with Marketing Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise.
Which contacts are imported?
Every contact, or only those that meet conditions you set on any property: a lifecycle stage, a country, a date, a yes/no. Conditions combine in groups — all of these, or any of those — and several sources can run side by side, each with its own conditions and group, one per country for instance.
How fresh is the data?
HubSpot tells Whapier about new, changed, merged and deleted contacts as it happens, so changes arrive within a minute or two. A pass every 15 minutes catches anything missed, and once a day each source is read in full: a contact that no longer meets its conditions leaves the source's group.
Does Whapier write anything to HubSpot?
No. The connection only reads: contacts, the definitions of their properties, and your lists. Nothing is created, changed or deleted in HubSpot, and disconnecting revokes the access on the HubSpot side.
What about consent?
Meta requires an opt-in before you message someone. A source can record the import as marketing consent — source "hubspot", with the date — for people who agreed to hear from you; anyone who replied STOP stays opted out, whatever HubSpot says. When HubSpot deletes a contact at their request under the GDPR, Whapier drops its copy of that HubSpot record too.
Where is the data kept?
Whapier is built, hosted and invoiced in the EU. HubSpot accounts hosted in HubSpot's EU data centre connect the same way as any other.
What does it cost?
The HubSpot integration is an add-on of Whapier's plans, and every free trial includes it. Meta bills WhatsApp messages to you directly, per delivered message at its own rates; Whapier adds no markup and charges only its subscription.
