Cookie policy
Every cookie this site sets, what it does, and how long it lives. Last updated: 24 August 2026.
1. What cookies are, in one paragraph
A cookie is a small text file the browser stores for a website, so the site can recognise the same browser on the next request — that is how you stay signed in between two clicks. Cookies can also be misused for cross-site tracking; this page exists so you can verify that we do not do that.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work; they cannot be refused without breaking sign-in. They contain no advertising identifiers and are read by no one but this site.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| *_session | Identifies your signed-in session and remembers the language you chose | 2 hours of inactivity |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | 2 hours |
| remember_web_* | Keeps you signed in when you choose "remember me" | Until you sign out |
| site_lang_hint | Remembers that you dismissed the "this page exists in your language" hint | 90 days |
3. Preference cookies
If you pick a language on the site, the choice is stored in your session so pages stay in that language, and a small cookie remembers if you closed the language hint. Nothing more is remembered about you.
4. Analytics
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga2, up to 2 years) count page views in aggregate so we can see which pages help and which do not. IP anonymisation is on; the data is not used for advertising, is not combined with your account, and no third-party ad trackers run on this site — you can verify that in your browser's developer tools at any time.
5. What we deliberately do not set
No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social-media pixels. No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting. The marketing site works fully with third-party cookies disabled.
6. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the strictly necessary ones are recreated when you next sign in, and blocking analytics changes nothing in how the site works for you. Data-protection questions are answered in the privacy policy; anything else at Contact.
