API & webhooks
A WhatsApp API your developers will actually enjoy
Token-authenticated REST, documented with examples in curl, PHP, Node.js, Python and Java — and outbound webhooks so your systems hear about every event as it happens.
What can I do over the API?
- Send text, interactive-button, template and media messages — contacts are created on the fly
- Full CRUD on contacts, contact groups and automated replies
- List templates and WhatsApp connections
- Create campaigns with template variables, immediately or scheduled, and read per-recipient logs
- Start a flow for a contact from your own system
- Read per-message delivery status, human-readable failure reason and cost
How do webhooks work?
Register your endpoint, pick the events — message received, sent, status updated; contact and group created, updated, deleted; automated-reply changes — and fire a test payload per event before going live. Deliveries are signed (HMAC) so you can verify them. On the inbound side, Meta's webhooks land in a durable inbox: deduplicated, retried with backoff, never silently dropped.
How is access secured?
Bearer tokens created and revoked per key in the developer panel, stored hashed, and rate-limited per token. Roles control which team members may manage developer tools at all.
Is there an e-commerce integration?
A WooCommerce plugin ships with the platform: order updates and store chat over WhatsApp. Anything else — CRMs, ERPs, custom stacks — connects through the REST API and webhooks. Read the full API documentation.
