Whapier

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026 · Part of the Terms of Service

1. Why this policy exists

WhatsApp works as a business channel because people trust it. Meta enforces that trust with quality ratings, messaging limits and bans; Whapier enforces it contractually with this policy. It protects your deliverability, our platform, and the people you message. Breaching it is a material breach of the Terms of Service.

2. Consent — the golden rule

  • Send marketing messages only to people who have given prior, verifiable opt-in to receive WhatsApp messages from your business specifically. A purchased list is never opted in. A phone number you "have" is not a phone number you may message.
  • Keep evidence of each opt-in (where, when, what wording). Our guides show patterns that hold up.
  • Honour opt-outs immediately and permanently: "STOP" means stop. Automation must never message someone who withdrew consent.
  • Utility and service conversations follow the same principle: message people about their own orders, appointments and requests — not about someone else's.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Through the Service you may not send or promote: content illegal in the recipient's country; deception, impersonation or phishing; goods and services prohibited by the WhatsApp Commerce Policy (among them: drugs, weapons, tobacco, gambling where unlicensed, adult content, counterfeits); malware or links designed to harm; harassment, hate or threats; content violating others' intellectual-property or privacy rights. You may not use the Service to evade a ban or restriction Meta has imposed elsewhere, nor probe, overload or disrupt the platform, nor use another tenant's data.

4. Technical fair use

The Service enforces Meta's throughput and daily tiers per number and ramps new numbers up gradually (warm-up); attempting to circumvent these protections is a breach of this policy. API access is rate-limited per key; automated traffic must respect the limits and back off on 429 responses. Plan limits (contacts, team size) are what the pricing page states.

5. Enforcement

Proportionate to the risk: we warn where a warning suffices, throttle or suspend sending where recipients or the platform are endangered, and terminate accounts for grave or repeated breaches (Terms, section 9). Where spam harms other customers' deliverability or the law obliges us, suspension can be immediate. We report what the law requires us to report. If you believe an enforcement action is mistaken, write to office@addovision.ro — a person reviews it.

6. Reporting abuse

If you receive spam sent through Whapier or spot an account breaching this policy, report it to office@addovision.ro with the number and a screenshot. We investigate every report.
